Planning to Dig?

Remember, if you are planning to dig on your property, you must contact Ontario One Call a minimum of 5 days before you dig into a project of any size. It's free, it's easy, it's the law. 

Digging without locates can cause power outages, gas leaks, water leaks, expensive repairs, damage to your property, and injury.

Electrical Inspection

If you have work performed on your electrical service by an electrician (i.e. upgrades, repairs, etc.), the completed work must be inspected by the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA). For more information, visit the ESA's website.

InnPower's Disconnect/Reconnect Policy

Protocol Description: The protocol for Disconnect / Reconnect is as follows:

Operations Hours: 07:30 – 16:00

Cost: (labour and material)

Emergency Hours: 16:00 – 07:30

Cost: (labour and material)

Scheduled

(eg. Service Upgrades, Vegetation Management, Maintenance, Renovations, etc.)

Residential & Small Commercial CustomersOne free disconnect and reconnect per calendar year during operations hours.

Large Commercial & Industrial CustomersCharges apply. Please contact engineering@innpower.ca

Reconnections must be done between the hours of 07:30 to 16:00. Requests for reconnects received after 15:00 will have service restored the following business day. If same day reconnection is required, emergency hour reconnect charges shall apply.

ESA Inspection may be required based on work being done. Please check with ESA or your qualified electrical contractor.

Emergency

(eg. fire, police, EMS, lines down or burning breaker)

For safety reasons, we do not charge a fee for disconnection.

Outage Map & Portal undergoing maintenance
