Unplanned Outage - Severe Weather and Strong Winds

On Saturday, December 3rd, severe weather and strong winds passed through our territory causing fallen trees, downed lines, and multiple power outages. The series of outages started at approximately 10:30am, impacting approximately 1900+ customers in areas including Alcona and Big Bay Point.
InnPower crews worked tirelessly through the morning, day and night to remove hazards, conduct repairs and safely restore power. Power was restored to customers in multiple stages, with all customers being restored by 11:00pm.

Customers can still make payments in-office, through their financial institution or pre-authorized payment options during this time. We appreciate your patience while the issue is being resolved.
