An unplanned outage occurred on Thursday, June 16 due to a brief storm cell and high winds passing through the territory, causing fallen trees and damage to lines. InnPower crews were dispatched immediately, working tirelessly to clear the scene, remove hazards, repair the situation and safely restore power.
Power was restored to most customers in less than 45 minutes, with the remaining customers being restored at 8:00pm and 8:30pm. InnPower crews continued working around the clock to repair damage even after all customers were restored, completing the required work after midnight.
