An unplanned outage occurred on Friday, April 15th due to strong winds gusting up to 90 km/h, causing fallen trees and downed lines. InnPower crews were dispatched and worked around the clock on the statutory holiday dealing with multiple trees on lines; working tirelessly to clear the scene, remove hazards and repair the situation.
Approximately 278 customers were impacted. Power was restored to most customers in less than 2 hours, with the remaining customers being restored after 2:00am when the tree was removed from the line.
InnPower crews experienced 9 small simultaneous outages due to the high winds and tree contacts. Thank you to our crews for working so hard to resolve the outages for our customers on a holiday. Thank you to our customers for their patience and co-operation.
