Emergency Time of Use Pricing
On March 24th, The Ontario Government announced that it would be providing temporary 45-day emergency relief to Ontarians by setting all time-of-use price periods to 10.1₵/kWh. This 45-day emergency measure was set to last until May 7, 2020.
On May 6th, the Ontario Government announced that they would extend the emergency electricity rate relief beyond the temporary 45-day period. All Time-of-Use Electricity Rates will be reduced to Off-Peak rates for an additional 24 days, now effective until May 31st, 2020.
