Ban on Electricity Disconnections ends July 31

This is to remind customers that the extended winter ban on electricity disconnections for non-payment set by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) ends Friday, July 31, 2020.

As a response to financial hardships resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the ban on winter electricity disconnections (Nov 15 to Apr 30) was extended to July 31, 2020, for all residential and small business customers.

InnPower Corporation ceased all disconnection activity in accordance with the winter disconnection ban on November 15, 2019. Since then, InnPower has been working with its customers to assist them during the COVID-19 pandemic through flexible payment plans, educating on available financial assistance programs and more.

With the ban on electricity disconnections coming to an end, InnPower will be resuming its regular collections practices. However, we are still willing to work with and support our customers. If you are worried about the disconnection ban ending and/or have faced hardship due to COVID-19, please reach out to our Customer Service team by phone at (705) 431-4321 or email cs@innpower.ca.

Payments Desk Closure

Due to current weather conditions, the in-office payment desk at 7251 Yonge St., Innisfil is closed today to help ensure staff safety.

Our team remains available by phone, and customers can continue to manage their accounts online.

The in-office payment desk will reopen tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
